You are a sensitive, creative woman who is bringing your unique gifts and work into expression, through your own creations- whether this is a business, a service, an offering or a creative project. You are deep thinking and deep feeling- in fact, your depth and sensitivity are a big part of your gifts, and an important part of what has drawn you towards a more creative path where you can soften into a way of living and working that feels more natural and true.
YET DEEP DOWN, YOU ALSO WANT TO HOLD YOUR WORK LIGHTLY. YOU WANT TO CREATE, SHARE AND RECEIVE MONEY FOR YOUR GIFTS WITH A SENSE OF GENTLE SIMPLICITY AND EASE OF HEART.
So why can it feel so difficult to do this?
What I have found, is that the thoughtful, sensitive woman finds it difficult to align with many of the creative/entrepreneurial paths that she sees ‘out there’. The combination of her highly sensitive nature, along with the nature of her work that draws from her gifts and her heart, rather than from neatly commodifiable skills, means she struggles to apply a lot of the conventional advice she has received around business.
In my work with women around feminine business and gentle creation, I have observed that there are generally four main paths of business and creation that the sensitive woman often believes she must replicate and follow for success.
The first, is the ‘all in’ hustle and force path of more masculine-oriented creation and entrepreneurship, where she feels as though there is no room for her depth, feminine heart and natural pace. Often, the nature of her work and the lifestyle she is craving, do not fit in with the ‘go, go, go’ and ‘more, more, more’ nature of this approach. Yet she begins to feel she must keep up- over working, wearing a mask of performance, and always feeling like she must do more.
The second, is the heart-focused path (which sounds so much more beautiful and aligned to the sensitive woman, as it brings in the softer, feminine values that she longs for). Yet what I have seen, is that there is often an over-focus on her depth and heart in this paradigm that can feel overwhelming to her system. What started as an aligned path, then becomes the very thing that pulls her into overthinking, overcomplicating, over explaining or over-delivering- all qualities that make her work feel emotionally all-encompassing, confusing, unsustainable, or as though she can’t bring her ideas into tangible expression.
The third is the ’just be yourself and post online’ path. This is often part of the more feminine-oriented approach- yet the sensitive woman does not want to be the centre of her work in this way. It feels over-exposing and pressure-inducing, rather than enlivening and authentic, and can see her merging the value of her work with who she is. If she pushes herself into this path, she can feel a deep sense of enmeshment between life and work, finding it difficult to switch off and create the space she needs, free of comparison, constant outer perception and the pressure to show up online.
And finally, the fourth is the soul-led path of purpose (which once again, can feel very aligned to the soulful, sensitive woman). Yet what I have actually seen happen here, is that the sensitive woman puts SO MUCH pressure on her purpose. She becomes emotionally and spiritually invested in knowing what she is here to offer, and places great weight on how she is serving, and whether it is the ‘right’ thing. Her patterns of overfunction become unconsciously martyring herself to her gifts and her clients, and constantly seeking both certainty and gravitas in her work- something that can make her feel very heavy and solemn within her work, as though she is carrying a deep burden in her soul.
And while all of these paths may hold aspects that she can learn from, she finds that trying to force her creative work into outer expression through these templates, is just not sustainable for her work, or her nature.
HERE IS WHAT I HAVE FOUND THAT THE SENSITIVE WOMAN OF DEPTH AND HEART ACTUALLY NEEDS TO BRING HER WORK INTO THE WORLD….
While she has a rich inner world and a deep, heart-felt approach to her work, she requires the process of creating and offering her work to feel natural, nourishing and light. She is exhausted by over-function (over thinking, over working, over giving, over analysing), and instead needs ways to make things feel gentle and simple, where she can still honour and be in the depth of her nature and heart, but not feel heaviness, tightness and tiring obligation around her work. She values softness- but in order to cultivate this softness, she needs to know how to hold her work with a sense of lightness and emotional separation.
It does not serve her sensitivity or her heart to believe that her work must be her overarching, all-encompassing purpose, or a soul obligation that she must martyr herself to, as this is overwhelming to her system. She withdraws, rather than thrives, if she believes she must be “all in” to start sharing her gifts. She does not bloom through pushing harder and faster to makes things ‘work.’ Instead, her work flourishes when she focuses on what feels right for her to offer (rather than what she thinks she should). It blooms as she comes to trust her ideas, her visions, her heart and her voice, without feeling like she must do things one particular way.
She needs nurturance, not force, as she gently moves through self doubt and the waves of 'This doesn't matter, this isn't important, this work is not good enough.' She discovers her flow and the natural magnetism of her work when she creates from wholeness, not scarcity (regardless of her current financial situation). She needs to know that birthing her own heart-felt work in the world is a vulnerable, big process for her sensitive system, and she must nourish her process through a natural, rhythmic approach to creation, rather than forcing output.
She is here to create, share and sell in a way that feels like peace and naturalness, rather than striving and constantly losing herself in holes of ‘trying to figure it all out.’ She wants tangible ways and simple shifts that move the needle, inspire her to create, and truly support her sensitive, feminine nature. She wants principles and practices that actually help her to bring her work into the world, and give her a sense of ease and lightness, rather than keeping her trapped in over-thinking, over-reflection or self-doubt.
‘HER GIFTS’ WAS CREATED FOR THIS WOMAN.
Through this 4 week course, the sensitive woman uncovers a lighter, more natural way of actually bringing her work and her gifts into the world.
Because even though she is deep (and her work may also hold great depth) she wants a sense of lightness and naturalness in her process and outer expression. At the completion of ‘Her Gifts’ she emerges with a renewed vigour for creating and offering her work, rather than worrying, over thinking, self-doubting or over complicating.
She comes to know and trust her own pace, her own creative path and her own soft, yet potent way of bringing her work into outward expression, offering her work from wholeness, overflow and the gentle simplicity of staying true to her authentic gifts.

Everything I teach in Her Gifts has arisen from my own experiences as a solopreneur/creative, alongside my years supporting sensitive, creative, feminine-oriented women through my mentoring, writing and courses. Through this, I have seen how easy it can be for sensitive, deep thinking women to unconsciously turn their depth of thought, inner complexity, deep feeling nature and natural gifts into over function, confusion and self doubt when they begin interfacing their creativity and gifts with the outer world of clients/customers, sales, marketing and online visibility.
Going from a full-time teaching career, into creating and selling my own work (in a more unconventional field), I have seen the identity shift that must occur to move from ‘the worker’ to ‘the creative’, where we come to trust and value ourselves, our ideas and our paths, without waiting for external permission. I have always felt the longing to bring my work into the world in a way that feels genuinely my own, and found that I did not resonate with many of the paths presented. In particular, the more all-encompassing spiritual/heart-led paths that initially seemed like a better fit for my nature and work, did not hold the lightness and simplicity that I actually needed to bring my work into outward expression- something I also see with a lot of women I work with.
Because of my past experience as a qualified teacher with a Master of Education, I have spent years understanding how people actually learn, including what supports genuine integration and what stumbling blocks often come up in the process of learning and creation. In particular, I have seen how sensitive, deep thinking women are so often taught to override their pace, receptivity and ‘feeling knowledge’ through conventional education systems, leaving them doubting their own creative cycles, gifts and potential when they step into a more creative path in adulthood.
With so much noise in the outer world, particularly in the online space, sensitive women can often close down from overwhelm, instead of knowing that there is a way for them to share their gifts gently, gracefully and in their own distinct way.
‘Her Gifts’ is designed with all of this in mind- not just in terms of what is being taught, but in how the course is paced and offered, so that it best supports the sensitive, deep thinking, creative women it is designed to nourish.
-
This is a self-guided course so you don’t receive direct 1:1 support. But for this first round of Her Gifts, you can directly send me questions, shares and reflections as you move through the course, which I will likely collate into a Q and A bonus module if it feels valuable for course participants.
-
No, this is a completely new and original course, although of course there may be similar threads that run through.
-
This course is best suited for women solopreneurs who are creating offerings, services or creations where they have an intent to receive income for their work.
Part of the challenge for sensitive women, is the movement from internal ideation, to creating something that is intended to be valued monetarily and received by others. So while you don’t need to be selling anything right now, this course is more specifically for women who would like to receive income through offering their gifts to others. This does not have to look like a conventional, all-encompassing business, but it does require a shift from creating for purely personal expression, to cultivating and offering your gifts in a way that can provide value for others.
If this is not where you are at, you may find Her Song more resonant right now.
-
This course is designed to work with you at any stage. I have worked with women who are just beginning to offer their work, as well as women who have been creating their work/business for far longer than me. What these women have in common, is their desire to do things in a way that actually feels nourishing and true to them- not stampeding over their nature and heart to succeed, but also not allowing their depth, complexity and heart to keep them in more “heart and soul led” patterns of over function.
You may be in the beginning stages of offering something- a course, a newsletter, a 1:1 service, an ebook, a PDF guide or something else that you have ideated. Or, you may be further into your business/ body of work creation/service, but are finding that things are feeling heavy and not in alignment with your nature. You may find you are slipping into overfunction and need a reset where you can come back to a lighter, simpler way of creating, offering and sharing your work.
Or, you may already have a thriving business but are currently looking to create something new that you’re struggling to actually believe in, or are finding yourself avoiding the tangible creation of it.
If the Her Gifts course page has resonated with you, I’m sure there will be much inside the course that will help you with your particular stage of creation. As well as this, you receive a year access to all course material- plus everything is downloadable to your own device, so you can come back to the content for as long as you like, and apply different things as needed.
-
This is not a step-by-step course on how to create, share and sell something. It assumes that you have been circling in the creative/business space for at least a little time- and you don’t need a linear, mapped out plan, but rather, guidance that helps you overcome the worrying, over thinking, self-doubting and over complicating, so you can actually move forward in offering your gifts to the world.
Her Gifts is also not for women who are still very much in the depths of their inner phase of their own feminine and creative reclamation and healing (a vital and much needed phase for so many women)For many women, trying to push work out externally, when actually, they are in a more yin, inward, healing stage of life, can actually be counterintuitive. If this is you, Her Song may be a better fit for you.
I also do not give financial advice (taxes etc) within the course, or tell you must use any particular platform/s for your business.
-
Her Gifts was designed as the natural extension to Her Song. In Her Song, the sensitive, creative woman softens into her inward journey, as she rebuilds the internal foundations, reclaims her feminine soul, and comes to know and trust in her own beautiful and creative way of being.
Her Gifts then helps her to bring her remembered self outward, through the expression of her gifts. She is guided to offer her work from wholeness, at her own pace, in her own way, learning how to remain steady in herself and her work, as she learns how to engage with the more outward world of business and creation.
You are welcome to enrol in Her Gifts without having completed Her Song- but if you would like to nourish your internal foundations more deeply, so you are creating from naturalness and wholeness, rather than wounding, striving or proving, Her Song might be a good place to start.
