I’m Belinda Marie, the creator of this space.
Here, you’ll find writings and resources to support you as a sensitive, creative woman who knows at a deeper level that she is not here to continually override her nature and exhaust herself within paradigms of proving, striving and earning her worth. Instead, you are trusting in your naturalness, valuing the beauty of your own pace and path, and reclaiming and resting in your feminine body, heart and soul.
In the realms of creative business, you are here to bring your ideas into form while honouring your essence and heart. Within noisy and forceful business paradigms, you are creating through self-gentleness, natural pace and a deep belief in your own gifts and natural expression. You want to share and sell your work in a genuine, graceful way that feels true to you, and to the nature of your creations/service/business.
the women I support
The women drawn to this space are thoughtful, reflective, intelligent, deep feeling, intuitive and creative, yet have often been taught to distrust or abandon their instinctive, feminine essence. Their sensitive nature can make it easy to be pulled into patterns of over function, where they are over thinking, over efforting, over emoting and over analysing, rather than softening into the natural flow of their life, heart and creative path. They are drawn towards reclaiming unforced creativity, beauty, spaciousness, ease, feminine value and a softer pace, as natural antidotes to the more masculinised, linear, performance-focused environments and systems of modern success culture.
They carry these same values into the creative business/online realm, so are seeking to create, share and sell in a way that supports their natural unfolding and the nature of their knowledge, gifts and creative heart. Often, their creative process and their work does not fit neatly into masculinised ideals of linearity and objectivity, so they are learning to understand and trust in their feminine creativity and expression, and find structures that honour, rather than override, their essence, sensitivity and heart.
the work I offer
While the women drawn to my work come from many different backgrounds and parts of the world, I have discovered that there are collective principles and ways that nourish and enrich a woman as she moves more deeply into the truths of her feminine soul. I wrote Her Song specifically to help women understand, trust and see the beauty and power in this softer path, especially amongst so much yang-based self-development and masculinised spiritual striving, that leads many sensitive, creative women to believe they are not allowed to embrace and embody their raw essence, their pace, their feminine spirituality and the way their natural energy flows. As an extension of this, I have observed how many women on this path are concurrently seeking to express and create something of their own (businesses, creations, writings, services) in a gentler way that does not require them to do things in the loud and striving ways that are presented as necessary in most entrepreneurial and online realms. Instead, they are on a path of softening not striving, naturalness not performance, stripping back not adding on, coming into receptivity not forcing things- and they want this to be reflected in their path of creativity and business too. I wrote Her Gifts to offer insight and guidance around this, giving women on this gentler path of business and creation a space to learn more about feminine creativity, their natural gifts, and how to draw these into tangible expression.
